Hi!
I am a designer and activist from New Delhi, India passionate about using art and design to create social impact. I created the blog ‘Artivism: Art + Activism’ which was featured by the United Nations, Adobe and Amnesty International. Last summer, I co-founded Project Karuna, a travel firm which helps tourists rediscover the magic of India and promotes responsible eco-tourism. This is my second year serving as the President of RISD SASA (South Asian Students Association), and have also led teams in Brown University’s Entrepreneurship Program and RISD’s IDSA (Industrial Designers Society of America). Other things of interest include biomaterials, ancient architecture, curating exhibitions, political protest art, Marvel Studios, and golden shower trees.

Hi,
I’m Chenyu Ding. I’m a designer, artist and maker. I’m skilled at creating designs using computational tools, generative systems and digital fabrications. I love printing and creating designs using my 3D printers. I’ve been gradually shifting to practices that focus more on psycho-social impact and sustainability. My recent projects include developing design courses for refugee minors in Greece and designing a water control that saves water in public spaces. I’ve won notable design awards like iF. I wish to learn more about how to apply biomaterials in product designs. In my spare time, I love playing guitar, writing post rock music as well as watching youtube to learn stuff (It actually works).

This is Malia! I’m a design student who is interested in crafts, human engagement and nature & culture sustainability. What's more? Having fun & spreading happiness in the design process. Some fun things about me:I have a 13 years old poodle. Still cute and energetic! I'm a left-handed person but I can write with both my hands. I'm a tennis enthusiast. LOVE ROGER FEDERER! I like learning various musical instruments. I play piano, jazz drums(and all kinds of percussion) and Guqin(古琴)

I am Regina. I’m a designer passionate about sustainable energies and materials development, user experience, and service design. A lot of my work looks at the intersection of humans and nature. I’m a detail-oriented person who likes to focus on the psychological, cultural, economic, and political behind the users. One of my biggest hobbies is traveling, I like to take inspiration from travel experiences. I also have a strong interest in photography and fashion.

Hey,
I’m Emilia! I’m a design student with a love of everything to do with the outdoors, so you can either catch me tracking animal prints in the mud on a Sunday morning or crocheting a sweater for my dog. I love working with my hands if it’s creating wooden objects or planting a row of flowers. After RISD I hope to travel and study agriculture to end up possibly in food systems design. My previous all-girl school environment taught me to be ambitious and a leader, so if not food systems design, I’ll be conquering the world.
